CITROËN BORN PARIS XV: 100 YEARS & 100 LEGENDARY MODELS
Between 14-16 June, Citroën invites all car enthusiasts to the 15th arrondissement of Paris, where the story began in 1919 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the brand. In the middle of the area where Citroën has been operating with the Javel facility for more than 50 years, 100 legendary models will be exhibited at Rue Lionis, revealing the historical development of the brand. Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to make a journey through history by following models that have left significant traces in the historical development of the brand from Type A to the new concept cars Ami One Concept and 19_19 Concept. The exhibition, which is open to everyone and free of charge, will take young people on a journey through history and portray memories of older people.
The first Citroën Type A was introduced in Paris in June 1919. To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the brand draws attention to the place where the story began. Just a few meters from the old Javel site, a Parisian street will be transformed from night to surprise those who pass by early in the day. At a distance of 400 meters on Rue Linois, legendary cars and vans will be on display, leaving a mark on the brand’s 100-year-old history.
