PERFORMANCE

Since the end of 2013, CITROËN has rolled out a new generation of Diesel engines called BlueHDi.

These diesel engines in the New CITROËN C4 Range are able to combine top-level performance with very low consumption and CO2 emissions because of their innovative exhaust line.

While based on the 1.6l Hdi Euro 5, these engines feature two major improvements : higher internal engine efficiency and reduced mechanical losses (special combustion chamber, new segmentation, a new ‘Diamond Like Carbon” coating, very low viscosity oil.)

Following the PureTech 130 S&S 6-speed manual turbocharged unit, two new engines have been added to the New CITROËN C4 Range : the PureTech 110 manual gearbox and the PureTech 130 S&S EAT6 gearbox.

Based on the 3-cylinder architecture of the naturally aspired engines in the PureTech family, the turbocharged versions are equipped with an advanced, high-performance turbo compressor (240,000 rpm) and a central high-pressure direct injection system (200 bars).

Citroën and Michelin pooled their innovative capacities to develop the new-generation 16” MICHELIN ENERGY Saver tyres, available on the HDi 90 and e-HDi 115 versions of the Citroën C4.
With these very-low consumption tyres, the new Citroën C4 cuts CO2 emissions by up to 5g/km compared with standard tyres, and saves 0.2l of fuel per 100 km.

Advanced technology in the spotlight. The C4 New Range features a new-generation light signature. Daytime-running lights and LED guide lights underline the expressive styling of the headlights that taper out towards the wings.

A new 3D-effect light signature showcases the dynamic lines of the rear end. The new lights underline the clean pure lines of the boot lid to accentuate the prestige of this compact hatchback. A perception reinforced by the quality of gap and flush.

Interior design

The compact dimensions of the Citroën C4 New Range make for a moderately sized footprint: 4.33m long, 1.79m wide and 1.49m tall.

Keyless access and start-up system

Driving is made easier with the keyless access and start-up system, which lets you enter the car and start the engine without taking out the electronic key.
